Methodist Church
The Methodist Church has been in the village for more than 200 years and in the present building for over 160 years since it was built in 1858. In addition to regular Sunday morning services, it is also currently used by several village organisations.

Scothern Methodist Church meets every Sunday in the Chapel and also holds additional services at various times, including regular “Prayers & Coffee” (1st & 3rd Thurs. each month) and Music & Chat (2nd. Thurs. of month).

St Germain's Church

St Germain's in Scothern is a Church of England church. There are regular services held each week - details can be found outside the church or on the benefice website: https://sites.google.com/site/weltondunholmescothernchurches/home

 St Germain's is a member of a benefice (group of parishes) including churches in the nearby villages of Welton and Dunholme. St Germain's has a service every Sunday at 09.15 except for when there is a fifth Sunday in the month, when a benefice service is held in turn in one of the three churches. A timetable of church services can be found on the benefice website.

St Germain's is a beautiful church, mentioned by Pevsner in his book on the architecture of Lincolnshire, with a fine traditional organ, stained glass windows and a six peal of bells which are rung before many services and at practices on Friday evenings.
St Germain's Parochial Church Council publishes the monthly Parish Magazine containing news and information for the whole community.

St Germain's Chorale 
The chorale meets in church to rehearse on Tuesday evenings and usually gives three concerts during the year, in services to mark Christmas, Easter and the patronal festival in July.
