Meeting of Scothern Neighbourhood Development Plan group on Wednesday 18th January 2023 at 7.30pm at Bottle and Glass Public House, High Street, Scothern
Present: Cllr Robert Creaser, Cllr John Fotheringham, Cllr Jane Johnson, Cllr Cathie Nicoll, Melanie Tointon and Luke Brown (Planning Consultant)
Luke confirmed that following the formal inspection of the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan the two sites in Scothern have not been removed. The modifications that have been made to the CLLP are now undergoing consultation. Final date for comments is 24th February. The final plan will then be issued probably in March with formal adoption taking place after the local elections in May.
Luke will now prepare the Basic Conditions Statement and the Environmental Statement.
The proposed timetable for the Scothern Neighbourhood Development Plan is as follows –
Submission – March
Examination – April
Referendum - June/July
Luke needs to finalise the Consultation Statement and the Development Plan in view of the further comments made.
Luke to forward the documents for a final check by the group prior to approval by the Parish Council. This has been put on the agenda for the meeting on 8th March 2023.
