| 170.18 | Planning 138563 – Land off Dunholme Road – Outline planning application to erect 6no. dwellings with all matters reserved – resubmission of application 136737 – to discuss and submit comments to WLDC. Proposed Cllr Fotheringham, seconded Cllr Mrs Tointon and RESOLVED that the application is not supported for the following reasons: Design and Access Statement – document submitted as part of the application contains a number of flaws and therefore is not credible. Central Lincolnshire Local Plan – Identifies a 10% growth for Scothern; an increase of around 20% has already taken place. The character and appearance of the surrounding countryside of the rural setting would be spoilt by this development. This site is not a infill site and not part of continuous development within the village. Scothern Neighbourhood Development Plan – the proposed development is contrary to the Neighbourhood Plan. £150,000 contribution to Scothern Recreation Centre by the developer would be a private arrangement and not included in the planning process. | Clerk |
