July 2022 Notes Scothern NDP Group
Meeting of Scothern Neighbourhood Development Plan group on Wednesday 20th July 2022 at 7.30pm at Methodist Church, High Street, Scothern
Present: Cllr Robert Creaser, Cllr Jane Johnson, Cllr Cathie Nicoll, Melanie Tointon and Luke Brown (Planning Consultant)
Luke Brown gave an update on the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan (CLLP). The CLLP was submitted to the Secretary of State on 15th July.
Scothern Neighbourhood Development Plan is on target for a 6-week consultation period from 28th September to 9th November 2022.
The Methodist Church has been booked for the two public consultation events on Wednesday 19th October 2022 between 6pm and 8.30pm and Saturday 22nd October 2022 between 10am and 2pm. Nev Brown (Neighbourhood Planning Officer for WLDC) will attend the Wednesday evening event only.
Luke produced a draft of the SNDP summary. The group made various amendments to the document during the meeting.
The summary will be delivered to every household on the weekend prior to the first event and will be collected on 23rd October. There will also be options to complete and post through Cathie’s door or complete on-line and e-mail. Cathie to set up a new designated e-mail address for this purpose.
The summary will give details of the link to the full SNDP on the Parish Council website. Residents will also have the option of having a copy e-mailed to them or contacting Cathie to borrow a hard copy. A few hard copies will be produced for this purpose.
Luke to e-mail the updated draft to all members of the group.
