held in the Methodist Church, on Wednesday 8th May 2024 at 7.30pm

119/2024 To Elect a Chair and obtain signature of Declaration of Acceptance of Office -      

Cllr Reyner was proposed, seconded & voted as Chair, and signed the Declaration of Acceptance of Office

136/2024 To review & approve the annual insurance arrangements and quote – the annual insurance

renewal was received but items & values differed from the Assets Register. The council agreed

items/equipment required for the insurance, clerk to update with the insurance company, sending

the assets register and email all  councillors before the end of May for approval by email, due to

insurance due 1st June 2024. Resolved

 

137/2024 To receive and approve the End of Year 31st March 2024 Accounts – approved Resolved

 

138/2024 To appoint the Internal Auditor for 2024/25 – approved to appoint LALC’s Internal Auditor

as previous year  Resolved

 

139/2024 To confirm all members have updated their Register of Interest Forms if required

– all present councillors confirmed no updates required at this time

 

140/2024 To confirm permissions to publish details from all members on website/social

media/notice boards  – all councillors present approved to publish names & emails Resolved

 

141/2024 To appoint council representatives –  councillors were approved to represent the following groups:

                  a. Speed watch – Cllr Creaser & Canton

                  b. HR group – Cllr Johnson & Canton

                  c. Grange Park – Cllr Reyner. Clerk to ask Cllr Nicoll

                  d. Play Park Inspections – Cllr Atkins

                  e. Scothern Recreation Centre – Cllr Reyner

                  f. Police matters -  Cllr Canton

                  g.Village Maintenance – Cllr Creaser
